Wonderful decor and good quality food. The location is great. You could walk on the side of St. Croix for a while, or visit the ice castle during winter and walk in to Nacho Mama's. We had fish tacos and enchiladas. Both were very tasty. We will definitely go back again and try a few more items.

Very sad that my experience was bad this time. Server was rude. Bartender was eating food, playing on his phone and making drinks without washing his hands during a pandemic. But food was good.

The Nachos we ordered were delicious and driving all the way to Stillwater - The Birth place of Minnesota. Also, the theme and the feel of the restaurant was amazing and we enjoyed our time there. Surely would want to come again.

This is no doubt one of the most attractive restaurants in the neighborhood. Every time I go there I am highly happy. They maintain their high level service and the highest level of cooking they provide. You definitely will enjoy this this restaurant. Highly recommended.

This food was good. But come on ! we spent 2 hours from seating to leaving for service. Management needs to get this fixed. There was barely anyone in there and the server was gone all the time. The most we saw of the server was when the bill needed to be paid. Hopefully in a year when I come back it’s fixed. If you have over two hours to burn then go here. If not then go somewhere else. Never new a Mexican restaurant could be so slow.

Hands down my favorite Mexican-inspired restaurant in the Twin Cities metro. They have ginger margaritas and sesame chili shrimp tacos. Enchiladas guarantee leftovers.

Nacho Mama's is always a delicious place to go in Stillwater. The serving sizes are large and always very tasty. Their margaritas are off the charts, and they have many different flavors. It is definitely the place to go if you want mexican food downtown. A nice hike up the stairs or a walk along the river is a great way to ease the belly after eating the boat load of you get here. The outdoor sitting is kind of strange though. You have to walk outside the door and around the corner room get to it. The inside sitting is kind of tight too, but the whole sitting pace is kind of small.

Food looked great, but unfortunately never got to try. Was seated in an empty restaurant (literally) and promptly forgotten about. Table was between the kitchen and the door outside, passed a dozen times by wait staff, one set argued near us about what table outside was their responsibility. First time I've ever gotten up and left an establishment.

Great Mexican food. Had the chips and salsa, guacamole; I had the pulled pork chimichanga, and my fiancee had the enchilada bake. All was good....then there was the Marley margarita...ugh!!!! So good! A MUST VISIT

We came in and tried to eat. We're going to sit inside but ac was broke so we went outside. No big deal it was a nice day. We sat for 10-15 minutes as we watched the waiter scurry around, we figured it was busy. Then another bunch got seated and he went right over. We tried to ask the hostess what was going on but couldn't find her so we left!

If you go here do you need to order the chicken nachos, probably the best nachos I’ve ever had. Loaded with tons of chicken and cheese this plate will feed two people without an issue. It’s the only thing we ever get when we go there because it’s that good!

It was okay. Margarita was nothing special. There was hair in the salsa, the chips were probably from Walmart. The food did come out very quickly but it was put together like a college student makes food.

I had an extremely unfortunate experience at Nacho Mama's a few weeks back and sent an email to management rather than writing a review and still have yet to hear back.

It's June 2 and just after dining in is once again allowed, but only outside. As downtown Stillwater is cramped, they (and several other restaurants) cordoned off part of the street and set up some tables. It was REALLY NICE to linger over a sit down meal after all this time. I had shredded chicken Street Tacos and my wife had the Cabo Wabo Salad. Both were tasty and more than large enough. The service was attentive and enthusiastic; I think they were as happy to be there as we were. We'll be back!

Great food and service. Very enjoyable and a great atmosphere. I went on one of the coldest days this winter. We parked up the hill and had to walk it. It was well worth it and made the night fun. I'll be going here many more times. It lifted my spirits enjoying the great spicey dinner.

Have been there 4 times now and probably attempted to order for take out just as many times, don’t expect great service unless your sitting at the bar. Food is decent but for being in such a nice area and expectedly not being so cheap, you would in return expect some decent service. Nope.

Great atmosphere! Staff is friendly, and attentive. The food portions are amazing. The prices are great, especially for what you get. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 instead of 5 star, is I wish the meats and sauces had more of a kick to them. They seemed very tame with spices. Highly recommend though.

Nacho Mama's is a great place to eat. Every time I go over there the food is consistently good. The portions are way too big which is fine because you can get a second meal out of it the next day. I always get it to go box when I eat there. Margaritas are fantastic next. The outdoor seating Outback is very nice. The front cocktail room is a great place to have cocktails and order off the cocktail food menu. I would definitely recommend Nacho Mama's.

Okay, this restaurant has the best tacos I have ever had in my LIFE, not to mention their portions are very generous. They definitely marinate their meat I’m assuming, since it is so juicy and delicious. Every person I’ve recommended this place too end up loving it as well. HIGHLY recommend

We were seated at our table. Waited for 10 -15 minutes. Waitresses(3) walked past us and we never got waited on so we left. We won't be back! Very unprofessional!

We love going out. Yesterday we arrived in this delicious restaurant which friends recommended to us. We had a beautiful experience there with very good food and a nice stuff and a distinguished chief cook. We added this venue in our phone list and we shall no doubt visit again very soon. We warmly recommend.

The food was good, service was okay but during these times with covid I understand. Big downfall for me was that there was no place to change my babys diaper. I put my cardigan on the bathroom floor to change her :/ also very small and cramped dining.

Been here multiple times and its always been good. Chimichanga is a massive beast but very very good! Nice little patio and restaurant. Service is very friendly and good. I will definitely come back for more Mexican food when i am in Stillwater.

My husband and I went here for the first time tonight with our friends. Great service and awesome food and drinks! Our server was friendly and very helpful for it being our first time being there. Big portions too so we had some leftover to bring home 👍 Definitely going back!

Relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Drinks and food very delicious. Shared key lime pie with my honey, so refreshing.

We have been coming here for years. Food is always awesome, service is always prompt and very welcoming even when they are slammed. Prices are a bit higher than your standard Mexican restaurant but well worth the money as portions are large and delicious. My go to is the fried tacos and my partners go to is the smothered burrito. They have a small but comfortable patio though you may have to wait for seating on it on a nice day. They go out of their way to provide great service to all their guests.

There is a reason this is one of the top five Mexican restaurants in the state - it NEVER disappoints!

The huge nacho plate was delicious! Amazing chips and salsa! It seemed they wanted you in and out a little...but it was very busy in town. Nice place.
